A VERY WARM

WELCOME

Hello I am Kate, a family photographer based in Caerphilly, South Wales. Right in the heart of the town is my beautiful home studio, where I love to capture your precious memories that will last a life time.

Being a mum of two young children under 7 years old, I understand the joys and struggles that motherhood brings. From the newborn sleepless nights, to teething and tantrums, I have seen it all. Most of all I understand and always try to cater my sessions to suit you and your family.

 

Ever since I can remember I have always loved taking photographs and knew from a young age that I would run my own business. I had no idea what that looked like! It wasn’t until I became a first time mum in October 2014 that everything clicked. Feeling that emotion of being obsessed with my child and needing to take photos at every minute. I thought that if I could take photos and give another person that same special feeling I had, then I could do this job forever. So thats what I did and in January 2015 I took the plunge and set up Kate Davey Photography.

Time goes so fast and our children and families change in a blink of an eye. Photographs are such a precious way to remember those newborn days, sitting up, smiling, walking and first birthday. MY STUDIO

Kate Davey Photography studio is based in the town centre of Caerphilly. For many years I ran my business from my lounge, but as time has gone by I have invested in renovating my brand new studio. In December 2019 I saw the first clients come to use my purpose designed studio. The feedback has been amazing and I am so blessed to have it in my back garden. 

You can easily access the studio from surrounding villages and towns in the county of Caerphilly. Many client travel from Newport, The Vale of Glamorgan, Pontypridd and Cardiff. You can access the studio just off the A470 which leads directly onto the M4.  

When I designed my studio I wanted my clients to feel relaxed and at home. So I have a lovely clients area with a comfortable sofa and hot drinks. Even though it is a converted garage I keep it lovely and warm for my newborn babies. I would love you to come and visit me here.
